Carteau accepts anonymous menu contributions. It does not create contributor accounts or durably store IP addresses. Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible mode) is used to prevent abuse on browser forms. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Uploaded and Google-derived photos are normalized, stored privately in an EU-jurisdiction Cloudflare R2 bucket, and retained indefinitely. Workers AI processes them to extract menu facts. Photos are not exposed through a public gallery endpoint.

Wish queries and processing status are stored with venue and menu records. Operational usage and error metadata may be retained, while AI Gateway prompt and image payload logging is disabled.

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact the address published with the Carteau App Store listing and include the contribution or wish identifier when available.
